Mvine, a leading provider of next generation collaborative portal and app solutions, is mentioned in a January 2016 report, Cobbling Tools Together to Manage Your BT Agenda, from leading independent research firm Forrester as a vendor that would add value to the CIO toolkit, in terms of service design and delivery.
The report looks at how the CIO’s role has evolved to become guardian of their enterprise’s digital outcomes, and assesses the business technology toolkit CIOs will need in order to successfully do this.
According to the report, in the absence of a single solution, CIOs must assemble their own toolkit from multiple vendor tools and services over the next three to five years in order to build a comprehensive end-to-end solution. The report profiles 17 tech management tool vendors able to contribute to the future CIO toolkit of services that will allow them to drive and manage digital outcomes.
The ability of the Mvine platform to bring together data from multiple systems of record into a business context within social media was cited specifically.
Mvine CEO and founder Frank Joshi said, “The evolution of the CIO remit brings with it a new and complex set of technology needs that Mvine is well placed to meet. I am delighted that Forrester has noted Mvine’s potential to add value to the CIO toolkit of the future.”
The report recommends that, in order to establish digital leadership, CIOs should begin to weave their own toolkit by first identifying data requirements. Furthermore, Forrester suggests that the toolkit is dynamically linked to business KPIs, then flexed and expanded in line with changing business needs over time.
