Live testing of a digital COVID-19 immunity passport, developed by Mvine and iProov, has begun. This passport aims to facilitate the return to normal life by securely verifying vaccination status using biometric technology. The project, backed by Innovate UK funding, ensures privacy by avoiding the creation of central databases. The passport is designed to be interoperable across borders, enabling secure and reliable verification of COVID-19 immunity status.
