Mvine Limited announces today its participation in the ‘Digital Business Marketplace III’ [phase three], a technology innovation program being run by TM Forum.
‘Digital Business Marketplace III’ encompasses sector-based projects in Smart Grid, Smart Manufacturing, and Smart Entertainment. Mvine’s contribution is in bringing together multiple players across multiple domains to enable cyber-secure purchasing, supply, provisioning and running complex networks of Internet of Things (IoT) connected devices.
These projects all centre on ‘Industry 4.0’ - the growing trend towards automation and data exchange in technology and processes in industrial sectors - and particularly on automating product and service catalogues in new and highly innovative ways likely to disrupt the sectors they are designed for.
Frank Joshi, Director at Mvine, said: “When the opportunity to place some of Mvine’s technology alongside other technologies by existing and emerging leaders we naturally stepped in. Pushing boundaries, exploring the art of the possible, and collaborating with some of the finest minds in sector sits well with Mvine’s innovative culture.”
“The Digital Business Marketplace III embodies the capabilities of numerous participants brought together by a common interest to solve hard problems as members of TM Forum,” said Frank Joshi.
Digital Business Marketplace III is about applied research which builds on work already accomplished in previous years, Digital Business Marketplace I and Digital Business Marketplace II.
