Mvine vows to make life easier for UK public sector procurement

Digital Marketplace supplier Mvine continues to buck the trend to help buyers in Central and Local Government and Devolved Administrations as G-Cloud 11 listings explode above 31,000 for the first time
British tech firm Mvine Limited announces today the immediate availability of three offerings on the Government Digital Marketplace under the new G-Cloud 11 framework. Whereas suppliers have tended to list every last piece of component separately, causing a proliferation of listings and unnecessary complexity, Mvine has bucked the trend. It has simplified the number of listings it has to just three listings direct and three listings with its partner Bramble Hub. The move is designed to make life easier for those working in UK public sector procurement.
Frank Joshi, director at Mvine said: “There comes a point when buyers struggle to see the wood for the trees. Therefore, we vow to make life easier for UK public sector procurement.”
Cloud software offers 9659 listings under G-Cloud 11, up from 8004 under G-Cloud 10. Cloud support offers 17092 listings under G-Cloud 11, up from 13742 under G-Cloud 10. And that is just the categories we are involved in.” said Frank Joshi
Mvine has had listings on G-Cloud since it began and has seen first-hand the proliferation of listings. For example, under G-Cloud 8 framework, Mvine had 15 services listed but quickly discovered that whilst buyers want choice they also want less complexity.
Frank Joshi said: “We engineered our Cloud software and Cloud support to be as simple to buy as it is simple to use. I think all suppliers owe that to public sector buyers, hard-pressed to find real value.”
